1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms form an agreement between you and Sitetrail LLC, operator of Mayors of the World. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use it.
The service is not directed to children under 13. Users below the age of legal majority need parent or guardian permission where required.
2. Satire, simulation, and real places
Mayors of the World is an entertainment and civic-learning simulation. It is not official government communication, political advice, legal advice, financial advice, or a factual claim about a real person, company, administration, or event.
Real city names, geography, infrastructure themes, and public issues may inspire scenarios. Characters, officials, donors, contractors, crimes, dialogue, outcomes, and most images are fictional, staged, generated, or altered for satire. “Simulated Outcome” imagery does not document a real event. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any featured city or government.
3. Free play and accounts
Free local play does not require an account. An account is requested only when you begin a first purchase or restore a prior purchase. You are responsible for your Google account, accurate account information, and activity under your application session.
Your email is not a public leaderboard name. You must not impersonate another person, public official, city, or organization.
4. Cabinet and automated responses
The premium Cabinet may use automated language-model providers to discuss a policy you submit. Responses can be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, delayed, or unavailable. They do not make legal or similarly significant real-world decisions about you.
Do not submit confidential government information, passwords, payment-card details, health records, or other unnecessary sensitive information. The game constrains Cabinet proposals through authored rules, but you remain responsible for what you type and how you interpret the entertainment experience.
5. Purchases, subscriptions, and paid value
Google Play processes purchases. Prices, taxes, billing periods, renewal terms, and available products are shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through Google Play before the next renewal, subject to Google Play’s terms.
Permanent Civic Credits remain until used unless the related purchase is refunded, revoked, invalid, or required to be reversed. Subscription allowances apply only to their paid period and refresh rather than stacking after expiry. Cancellation normally preserves access until the paid period ends. Restore recovers a valid entitlement without duplicating value.
Ending or restarting an administration does not erase eligible account-level purchases. See Purchases, Subscriptions & Refunds.
6. Acceptable use and fair play
You may not misuse the service, attack or probe systems, evade rate or spend controls, automate accounts, submit manipulated scores, steal purchase claims, harass others through shared names or challenges, reverse engineer protected services except where law permits, or use Cabinet for unlawful content.
We may reject a score, restrict a connected feature, suspend an account, or preserve evidence where reasonably necessary to protect users, purchases, leaderboards, providers, or the service.
7. Content and sharing
We retain rights in the game, characters, copy, art, software, and brand. You retain rights you may have in original text you type. You grant us a limited worldwide licence to process that text solely to operate, secure, and improve the requested service.
Share cards and challenges are provided for personal, non-misleading sharing. Do not remove required simulation labels, present fictional scenes as real news, or use the game to defame a real person.
8. Changes and availability
We may update content, balance, Cabinet providers, prices for future purchases, features, and technical requirements. Connected features can be interrupted by network, provider, platform, safety, maintenance, or legal constraints. The offline core is designed to remain playable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed. Sitetrail LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost progress, lost profits, or reliance on simulated or automated content, except where law prohibits the limitation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes non-waivable consumer rights.
